Swedish star happy to remain in Denmark for now

Oscar Wendt is flattered to be linked with a host of big clubs but insists he is happy at Copenhagen. Speculation has suggested that the Sweden international could be on the move this summer, with interest in his services mounting across Europe. The talented full-back is noted for his consistency and versatility, with the 23-year-old also able to operate on the left-hand side of midfield. He is believed to have attracted the attention of a number of teams in Germany, while a potential switch to the Premier League has also been touted. However, Wendt claims to be happy challenging for trophies in Denmark, a situation which allows him to compete in Europe's most prestigious club competitions. "I will look at things at the end of the season," he told Ekstra Bladet. "Although it would be fun to move to a big league, I have it very good in Copenhagen. "One should not underestimate how strong we are in comparison to other leagues. We have class players in every position and we always compete for the title. "In my time at the club we have made the group stages of the Champions League once and the Uefa Cup twice."
