Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven returned to winning ways as they beat 10-man ADO Den Haag 3-0 at the Philips Stadion.

After defeat in De Klassieker at Ajax was followed up by letting a 3-1 half-time lead slip to draw away against Groningen, Phillip Cocu's men made the most of home comforts with a flying start.

Captain Luuk de Jong put PSV ahead after just five minutes before swiftly adding a second with a fortunate close-range rebound.

Marco van Ginkel made it 3-0 from the penalty spot 10 minutes before the break, and Den Haag finished with 10 men after Thomas Meissner was sent off for a second caution after 80 minutes.

PEC Zwolle consolidated fourth place as they came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at relegation battlers Willem II.

Breda remain in the bottom three after losing 1-0 at Heerenveen thanks to Pelle van Amersfoort's effort early in the second half.

Bottom club Roda, meanwhile, had midfielder Adil Auassar sent off late on as they went down 1-0 at home against VVV-Venlo.
