Sinouh finds new club

Former RKC keeper Khalid Sinouh has penned a deal with Omonia Nicosia.

Former RKC Waalwijk keeper Khalid Sinouh has penned a deal with Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia.

The keeper rejected a new deal from RKC in the summer, claiming he needed a new challenge, but cut a frustrated figure as he failed to earn deals with the likes of Coventry City, Alaves and Metz.

A number of teams were put off as Sinouh will miss a chunk of the season from February as he will link up with Morocco at the African Cup of Nations.

However, the Cypriots are prepared to gamble and have handed him a contract until the end of the season.
