Ronald Koeman will have words with Arouna Kone after he missed training.
PSV Eindhoven manager Ronald Koeman is set to have strong words with Arouna Kone after the striker failed to turn up for the first training session of pre-season.
Koeman admits to being surprised by the actions of the Ivory Coast player, who is said to have misjudged the starting time.
"It is very unprofessional, he thought that we would start later and I need to have a talk about it with him," Koeman told ANP.
Meanwhile, PSV have reached an agreement with Ajax for Kenneth Perez.
The Danish midfielder has signed a two-year deal at PSV with the option of extending it by an additional year.
PSV have also handed John de Jong a one-year contract extension.
Although the 30-year-old midfielder has struggled with injuries for the past two campaigns he will be given the opportunity to fight for his place next season.
"I am extremely happy, the most important thing is that I can play again, the rest is just side issues," De Jong told the club's official website.
