Ajax have suffered yet another injury after it was confirmed that Dario Cvitanich has a tear in his right hamstring.
The Argentinean will be out for six to eight weeks and is joined on the sidelines by midfielder Jeffrey Sarpong.
Sarpong picked up a knee injury in the Uefa Cup game against Aston Villa. It is not known how long he will be out for.
The pair were both regulars for Ajax this season and their injuries are a major blow for the Amsterdam club.
