Striker Ola Toivonen has hinted he could leave PSV if they fail to bring in reinforcements to aid their challenge for the Eredivisie title.
The Sweden international, who is contracted in Eindhoven until 2012, has reportedly attracted interest from Tottenham this summer as they look to bolster their striking options.
Liverpool, West Brom and Juventus have also been linked with the 25-year-old, who has previously stated his disappointment at PSV's failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League last season.
PSV have already brought in Georginio Wijnaldum, Kevin Strootman and Dries Mertens this summer but Toivonen has urged coach Fred Rutten to splash more cash.
And the frontman admits he only wants to play for a side that are contenders for the title.
"The current selection is too narrow," Toivonen told Voetbal Primeur.
"There is no doubt the club has worked hard to get reinforcements, but I hope all their plans are realized.
"I want to keep playing, but only for the championship."
He added: "Yet much remains to be done before I leave PSV."
Coach Rutten understands Toivonen's concerns and is just as keen to strengthen.
"His ambitions are my ambitions," said Rutten. "I press the manager (Marcel Brands) every day. Already we are on the right course."
