Kasper Dolberg scored twice as Ajax beat rivals Feyenoord 4-1 in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar fired Ajax ahead at De Kuip with his ninth De Klassieker goal, only for Jens Toornstra to equalise.
Striker Dolberg steered in his first goal of the season to restore the advantage and then wrapped up the three points for the visitors after Siem de Jong had added a third.
Striker Huntelaar lashed a first-time shot past Feyenoord goalkeeper Brad Jones following a through-ball from winger David Neres five minutes into the second period.
Feyenoord were gifted the chance to equalise when Ridgeciano Haps tripped Matthijs de Ligt in the corner of the area five minutes later, but Nicolai Jorgensen's weak penalty was saved by Ajax keeper Andre Onana and Toornstra lashed the rebound wide.
However, just before the hour mark a defensive lapse allowed Jorgensen to make amends, squaring the ball into the path of Toornstra who fired home.
In the 72nd minute, Neres raced to the byline and pulled the ball back for Dolberg to sidefoot home from six yards out.
De Jong climbed off the bench to slide in number three a minute from time and in stoppage time 20-year-old Dolberg grabbed his second with a composed finish.
Victory moved Ajax back up to second, five points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven, who beat Heracles Almelo 3-0 in the early kick-off.
Mexican midfielder Hirving Lozano converted Jorrit Hendrix's pass for PSV's 18th-minute opener.
Marco van Ginkel made sure of the points when he poked in Mauro Junior's knockdown with 12 minutes remaining.
And the Chelsea loanee grabbed his second of the afternoon and sixth of the season from the penalty spot in stoppage time after Heracles defender Robin Propper was sent off for bringing down substitute Albert Gudmundsson.
Elsewhere, Vitesse Arnhem climbed to third after winning 4-0 at Heerenveen thanks to goals from Milot Rashica, Bryan Linssen, Navarone Foor and Tim Matavz, while Teun Koopmeiners, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Joris van Overeem were on target as AZ Alkmaar beat Utrecht 3-0.
