PSV Eindhoven and NEC Nijmegen are undefeated after wins in Saturday.
PSV Eindhoven and NEC Nijmegen have joined Vitesse Arnhem in recording their second straight wins to start the new Eredivisie season.
PSV destroyed AZ Alkmaar 5-1 at the Philips Stadion while NEC snatched a late goal to win at ADO Den Haag.
Guus Hiddink's side are top on goal difference after goals from Mark van Bommel (21), Andre Ooijer (61), Park Ji-sung (80) and a brace from John de Jong (70 and 88 - pictured) gave PSV an easy win over AZ, who replied five minutes from time through Adil Ramzi.
NEC came from a goal down to defeat ADO 2-1 at Zuiderpark, with Den Haag taking a half time lead through Rick Platvoet.
Romano Denneboom levelled for NEC with 11 minutes left before the visitors snatched the points as Said Boutahar scored.
RKC Waalwijk are fourth after a second half goal from Maarten Martens gave them a 1-0 home win over Twente Enschede.
Twente had a man sent off late on, as Ramon Zomer received two bookable offences at the Mandemakers Stadion.
Finally, Roda JC Kerkrade won a seven-goal thriller at Heerenveen 4-3.
Cristiano gave the visitors the lead after seven minutes before Klaas-Jan Huntelaar levelled for Heerenveen on the half hour mark.
Arouna Kone restored Roda's lead three minutes later to give the Kerkrade club a 2-1 lead at the break.
Marcel Seip made it 2-2 on 73 minutes before Cristiano got his second goal five minutes later for 3-2 to Roda.
Yuri Rose thought he had earned Heerenveen a point when he made it 3-3 with five minutes remaining, but Roel Brouwers scored in the dying stages to give Roda victory at the Abe Lenstra Stadion.
