AZ have struck a deal to bring Croatian goalkeeper Joe Didulica back to the Eredivisie.The 28-year-old has been playing for Austria Vienna for the last three seasons, after leaving Ajax in the summer of 2003.
He earned the Austrian giants' number one jersey there and made it his own, but will now face fierce competition from Dutch number two Henk Timmer.
There was still a year left on his contract at Vienna, but the club have now announced an agreement to return to Holland.
The Australian-born shot-stopper will be hoping to establish himself in Holland, as AZ look to compete both domestically and in Europe.
He made just 17 league appearances for Ajax between 1999 and 2003.
