The Argentine made the move to Amsterdam in the summer from Newell's Old Boys and he has quickly established himself as a fixture in Ronald Koeman's first XI.
Although Ajax are in the middle of an indifferent patch, Rosales claims things have gone well since his arrival from Argentina.
"I have been in Holland for two months and I can say that things are going in a positive way for me because I am playing for a European giant that is in the Champions League," Rosales told skysports.com.
"Last weekend I scored my first two goals. I am playing as a regular and each day I learn something new. All this makes me very happy.
"The ArenA is an incredible stadium. It has a roof and a highway goes under the stadium, really impressive.
"The supporters went crazy the other day with my goal. There was a very nice atmosphere.
"I am playing in the same position that Marcelo Bielsa made me play in the national team. Ajax play with two strikers on the sides and another one in the middle which is good for me."
Rosales feels Ajax are ready to emerge from their slumber and mount a sustained title challenge.
"We are getting better with each match," he added. "I think that we can give a lot as a team yet."
Rosales has admitted he was left in a state of shock recently when Dutch national coach and former striking legend Marco van Basten took time out to speak to him.
"Ajax very organised club. I am very proud that they have trusted in me.
"In addition, all the stars that this club had over the years are close, like for example Marco van Basten.
"He said hello to me. I couldn't believe it when he welcomed me. It was incredible that a player like him said hello to me."
Rosales claims he has had little trouble settling into life in the Netherlands.
"I have a house 15 minutes from Amsterdam in a city called Amsterveen. It's a very nice and calm place.
"As I know a little bit of English I don't have problems. In addition to that I am having Dutch classes every week."
