PSV Eindoven extended their lead at the top to 11 points with a 2-1 victory over ADO Den Haag, as second-placed Ajax were held to a surprise 2-2 draw at NEC Nijmegen.Patrick Kluivert broke the deadlock for PSV after 33 minutes and Jefferson Farfan doubled their advantage three minutes after half-time.
Wesley Verhoek pulled a goal back for ADO after 78 minutes but PSV held on for another three-point haul.
Kenneth Perez (pictured) opened the scoring for Ajax after 62 minutes at De Goffert, only for NEC to come roaring back.
Romano Denneboom equalised after 76 minutes and Peter Wisgerof popped up three minutes later to fire NEC ahead.
However, their lead lasted just 60 seconds as Gabri struck to secure a point for Ajax.
Groningen piled more pressure on bottom club RKC Waalwijk, with goals from Koe van de Laak (26) and Erik Nevland (49) securing a 2-0 victory.
Sparta Rotterdam upset the form book with a 3-0 win over high-flying Twente, with Sjaak Polak (24), Rachid Bouaouzan (31) and van Cvetkov (88) all finding the target.
The game between Heerenveen and Utrecht finished goalless.
