PSV extend lead

PSV Eindhoven extended their lead following a 4-1 success over RBCPSV Eindhoven extended their lead at the summit of the Eredivisie following a 4-1 success over 10-man RBC Roosendaal.
The table-toppers were made to fight for the victory with a penalty and red card finally break the visitors' resistance.
Following a tight opening 45 minutes the contest burst into life shortly after the break when PSV were awarded a spot-kick.
Melvin Fleur, who had already been booked, was shown red for collecting a second yellow and Mark van Bommel made no mistake from the penalty spot.
The Holland international midfielder added a second shortly after to put the home side firmly in the driving seat.
However, Danny Guyt pulled one back for the visitors, but that was as good as it got for lowly RBC and the effort proved nothing more than consolation.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, who netted a hat-trick at the weekend, scored from the penalty spot before John de Jong put the icing on the cake.
