PSV Eindhoven have opened talks with Feyenoord over Salomon Kalou.Valencia and Arsenal had shown an interest in the Ivory Coast-born star, but PSV are now keen to keep him in De Eredivisie.
PSV have offered Dutch international Theo Lucius as part of the seal in the hope that Feyenoord will allow Kalou to move to Eindhoven.
Kalou, unlike his brother Bonaventure, does not want to play for the country of his birth and wants to stay in Holland until he gets a Dutch passport.
The 20-year-old still hopes his Dutch papers may come through in time for him to play at the World Cup finals next year.
