On-loan Manchester City teenager Enes Unal scored twice as FC Twente beat Den Haag 4-1 in their Eredivisie clash at De Grolsch Veste.

The 19-year-old Turkish forward, who plundered a hat-trick in the win at Groningen last month, fired the home side into the lead after 13 minutes with a superb 25-yard free-kick.

Unal headed in a second 10 minutes before half-time, with midfielder Bersant Celina making it 3-0 when he knocked in a rebound.

With two minutes left, a diving header from substitute Kevin Jansen secured a late consolation goal for Den Haag, but there was still time for South African Kamohelo Mokotjo to complete the route in stoppage time.

Heerenveen moved above Ajax, who play at Heracles on Sunday, and into third place with a 3-0 win at Roda, where the home side finished with nine men.

A free-kick from Swedish winger Sam Larsson gave the visitors the lead in the eighth minute.

Roda had midfielder Abdul Ajagun sent off for a second yellow card in the 43rd minute before defender Chris Kum was also shown a red card after another booking before half-time.

Substitute Henk Veerman added a somewhat fortuitous second in the 68th minute shortly after coming on, the ball cannoning into the net off the striker as it was kicked back across the six-yard box by a defender.

Heerenveen then went down to 10 men with 15 minutes to go when defender Shay Facey collected his second caution, before Arber Zeneli swiftly wrapped things up with a third to leave Roda second bottom.

Vitesse Arnhem are into the top six after a 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles at the GelreDome.

Former Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot after 76 minutes, and just two minutes later on-loan Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker made sure of all three points with a second, lashing the ball in from 15 yards.

In Saturday's late kick-off, Willem II and Excelsior drew 1-1.

Spanish forward Fran Sol put the home side in front after just six minutes with a towering back-post header.

Excelsior, though, grabbed a late equaliser when Hicham Faik clipped in a free-kick with 10 minutes left.
