Twente's Ramon Zomer will miss up to four weeks of action after breaking his rib.
FC Twente defender Ramon Zomer has broken his rib after colliding with a player during their game with NEC Nijmegen at the weekend.Zomer originally bruised the rib in the game with Roda JC the week before, however, after being hit in the same place in the match with NEC it has now been found that the rib has broken.
"It hurt immediately and I could move the rib," Zomer told Twente's website.
"An injury never comes at a good time but now is a very bad time, we were on a good run of form and now, because of the injury, I will have to miss the coming games. "
Despite the pain, Zomer played the full 90 minutes of the 3-0 victory.
