The 2-1 setback at the Abe Lenstra Stadion stretched the Enschede club's winless streak to six matches although it was just their second defeat in that run.
Twente are six points behind Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven with 10 matches remaining and some fans have grown restless due to the side not winning a competitive match since before Christmas.
However, Munsterman, who spoke up for McClaren last week, is unconcerned by Saturday's defeat and is still convinced the beleaguered Englishman, who brought them their first ever league title in 2009, can transform their fortunes.
"There have been no developments. I'm still behind what I've said last Monday," Munsterman told De Telegraaf.
"For us, the situation has not changed with this defeat. It is a stable situation at the club."
