The stopper was previously on loan at FujiFilm Stadion in February but only played 38 minutes before an ankle injury sidelined him.
Collen has been besieged by injury since moving to De Kuip from NEC Nijmegen in 2001 but is now fully fit and looking for more first team experience.
Collen has already passed a medical and will meet his new team-mates on Friday.
Both Feyenoord and NEC will compete in the Uefa Cup this season and Feyenoord have already loaned out Johan Elmander (pictured) to NAC in what is expected to lead to a permanent exchange next season for goalkeeper Gabor Babos.
