Gabor Babos has admitted to being disappointed at being relegated to the bench.Feyenoord keeper Gabor Babos has admitted to being disappointed at being relegated to the bench once again at De Kuip.
The Hungarian international was pulled from the firing line late last year after a couple of indifferent displays, but he was informed over the winter break that he would get another chance to prove himself.
Ruud Gullit was true to his word and restored Babos to the team, but he was removed three games later and has been forced to play second fiddle behind Patrick Lodewijks since early February.
Babos has admitted to being disappointed with his situation, but has said he will fight for his place at De Kuip.
"Gullit told me before the first Uefa tie, he simply chose the other keeper," Babos told Nemzeti Sport. "It's the same case like it was last autumn.
"I'm very disappointed. I don't want to look for excuses, everyone knows how I've played in 2004. I wasn't in my best form. I had good, but bad games too.
"Gullit made a decision and I have to accept it. I will keep working to prove that he made the wrong decision.
"It's not my season so far and I know it's my fault in a way. It's very hard for me to step over the fact that I'm omitted again. It's understandable for me.
"I had three games in the line-up after the winter break and now I'm on the bench again.
"This is the situation, this is called football."
