Feyenoord have revealed their intention to find a new club for Danko Lazovic.Feyenoord have revealed their intention to find a new club for Serbo-Montenegrin attacker Danko Lazovic.
The 22-year-old has failed to have the expected impact this term following a fine first season and has been linked with a move away in the summer.
Feyenoord technical director Mark Wotte says the club will explore other options for the striker in the summer.
"A Dutch club is an option," Wotte told AD Sportwereld. "But we will also look out for a foreign club for Danko.
"In that case a club can loan him with an option to buy. With us Danko has still got a three-year contract, but nobody makes any progress if he returns after one year in a foreign country and becomes a bench player here again.
"If he does well abroad, then such a club will also have the chance to sign him permanently."
Teenage defender Jeffrey Altheer has signed his first professional contract after rising through the youth ranks at De Kuip.
