The left back was farmed out on loan to Den Bosch and was a regular starter despite the club slipping out of the Eredivisie on the final day of the season.
The Kuip club clearly believe he has a part to play as they have confirmed he will get the chance to stake a claim for a first-team place next term.
While Snoyl will be on his way back to Rotterdam, Portuguese defender Bruno Basto has been informed his services will no longer be required.
The left back was signed last summer, but failed to come up to expectations and has been told he can leave on a free transfer.
Basto has been linked with a move to German side Nurnberg.
Patrick Paauwe and Anthony Lurling have also been informed they can leave De Kuip, with both players attracting widespread interest, while Brazilian teenager Gerson Magrao has been made available for loan.
