Nicky Hofs is expected to be out of action for around six months after undergoing knee surgery on Friday.The Dutch international midfielder damaged the cruciate ligament in his right knee a fortnight ago and the problem was serious enough to warrant reconstructive surgery.
The operation passed off without a hitch and Hofs is set to begin his lengthy rehabilitation programme in around three weeks' time.
