NAC Breda have informed Hungarian midfielder Tamas Peto that they are not looking to extend his contract.
Peto's current contract is winding down and under Dutch law deals which are expiring are automatically extended unless the player is informed otherwise by the end of March.
NAC have taken the decision to inform Peto that they will not extend his deal, but it could yet happen in the summer.
"Last year I convinced them in the play-offs and I hope I will get that chance again," Peto told BN De Stem.
"I want to show in the next two months that I am valuable to NAC."
NAC, meanwhile, are considering a summer move for Alfred Schreuder.
The 34-year-old will be available on a free transfer from Feyenoord and NAC coach Ernie Brandts has sounded out Schreuder about a possible move to Breda.
