The Swede has slipped down the pecking order at Abe Lenstra and is keen on a move in January in a bid to kick-start his career.
Djurgardens have expressed interest in bringing him back to Sweden in a bid to fire them to the title, but the forward claims he would prefer to explore other options.
"I have only played 90 minutes once all season," the 27-year-old told Expressen. "It's apparent that I do not belong to the first choice.
"Preferably, I would like to stay in (mainland) Europe, but if that is not possible, we will look at the alternatives in Sweden and Scandinavia."
