Vitesse Arhem moved into the top half of the Eredivisie table after beating Roda JC.
Vitesse Arhem moved into the top half of the Eredivisie table courtesy of an eventful 4-2 win at Roda JC.
Vitesse looked to be heading for defeat when Sekou Cisse (26) and Andres Oper (pictured, 29) put them at a two-goal disadvantage.
However Danko Lazovic struck seven minutes before half time to give them a route back into the tie.
Anduele Prijor drew the two sides level on 49 minutes, and Roda's hopes suffered a blow when Dave de Fauw was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
The numerical imbalance played into Vitesse's hands and goals from Lazovic (74) and Fred Benson (90) ensured they moved up into eighth place.
ADO Den Haag moved off the bottom of the table on goal difference thanks to a 2-1 home win over Willem II.
ADO raced into a two-goal lead through strikes from Eljero Elia (8) and Santi Kolk (20), and despite Ibrahim Kargbo (53) halving the deficit the home side held on for just their third win of the season.
NAC Breda were also winners on Saturday, with a 3-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam elevating them to tenth place.
The goals came from Brian Pinas (9), Patrick Mtiliga (28) and Maceo Rigters (45) as Sparta remained stuck in 14th place.
