Jesus Corona and Hakim Ziyech both scored a goal in each half to help FC Twente claim a 4-2 win over De Graafschap in the fourth round of the KNVB Cup on Wednesday.
Hosts De Graafschap went ahead in the 11th minute through Vincent Vermeij but goals from Corona (40) and Ziyech (45) gave Twente the edge at half-time.
After the break, Corona scored his second in the 60th minute before Ziyech added his second nine minutes later, with Andreas Bjelland's own goal (79og) not enough to get De Graafschap back in the game.
Meanwhile, AZ Alkmaar saw off NEC 2-1 thanks to two goals from Muamer Tankovic (39, 62pen) which included one from the penalty spot.
Anthony Limbombe (66) pulled one back for NEC but the visitors were unable to find the equaliser.
In the other game, FC Groningen defeated FC Volendam 3-0 thanks to goals from Mimoun Mahi (44), Nick Van der Velden (71pen) and Michael De Leeuw (89).
