Zuidam pleased to stay with Utrecht

The 22-year-old`s current deal is due to expire in the summer, but he has moved to end speculation about his future by agreeing a contract that will tie him to the club until the summer of 2006.
The news has come as a boost to Zuidam, who said: "From the beginning FC Utrecht have indicated that they would like to go on with me."
Utrecht have financial worries, but clearly rate Zuidam highly.
The youngster added: "Of course it's fantastic that I get so much trust from the club in the current situation. The new contract is a nice proof of appreciation.
"As a Utrecht man there is nothing more beautiful than to play for this club."
Utrecht have also reached an agreement with young keeper Joost Terol, who should soon pen a deal that runs until 2005.
