The Serbia & Montenegro striker failed to receive a contract extension from Eredivisie side FC Utrecht due to financial problems.
The forward was instrumental in the club's Amstel Cup success over Feyenoord, bagging a brace in the 4-1 triumph.
After initially being linked with a move to Austrian outfit, Grazer AK, Gluscevic has signed a two-year deal with Sparta with the option of a third year should he wish to remain in the Czech capital.
Sparta were crowned domestic champions for the sixteenth time in twenty years last season and Gluscevic will be joined at the club by former Schalke star Jiri Nemec and Jiri Rosicky, younger brother of Czech international Thomas Rosicky.
