Joost Terol has been ruled out for the next month after tearing a thigh muscle.Utrecht keeper Joost Terol has been ruled out for the next month after tearing a thigh muscle.
The club feared the worst when Terol went down clutching his thigh during the Uefa Cup clash with Real Zaragoza.
Utrecht sent the keeper for an MRI scan, which confirmed that he had suffered a tear to his upper thigh and doctors have advised a month of inactivity.
Utrecht have made a bright start to the season and coach Foeke Booy will hope his side can offset the loss of Terol, with Rene Ponk set to take the place between the posts for the weekend clash with PSV Eindhoven.
It is the second time Terol has picked up an injury on Uefa Cup duty, as he was forced off with a muscle injury against Djurgardens earlier in the competition.
