Boulahrouz, Delpierre and Pogrebnyak may not earn new deals

Stuttgart trio Khalid Boulahrouz, Matthieu Delpierre and Pavel Pogrebnyak are not certain of earning contract extensions. The trio are reported to be among the club's highest earners and their current deals expire at the end of this season. Former Chelsea defender Boulahrouz is a first-team regular, but injury-plagued Delpierre and Pogrebnyak are not guaranteed places in boss Bruno Labbadia's starting XI. And Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic has revealed the club would consider the financial merits of offering new contracts in the New Year. He told BILD: "It is too early to make any comment. We will start to signal to players if we want to go on with them or not. We will do so after Christmas. "Sure, we will have to see if some extensions are financially okay for us. If signing on would make any sense. It's also a factor of age. "Maybe we have one or two youngsters from the reserves coming up as well."
