NAC Breda edged a step closer towards survival after a 3-1 win over TOP Oss.
NAC Breda edged a step closer towards retaining their Eredivisie status after a 3-1 victory over TOP Oss.
The two teams had been locked on aggregate after two legs and extra time was required to separate NAC and TOP Oss in the third meeting.
The top-flight outfit were indebted to Anouar Diba for keeping their survival hopes alive as he plundered a hat-trick.
TOP Oss took the lead on 33 minutes through Dave Zafarin before Diba levelled 10 minutes into the second half.
Diba put NAC in front five minutes into extra time and he completed his treble a minute from the finish.
NAC will now face Volendam in the final round of the play-offs after they beat Helmond Sport 2-1 after extra time.
Two earlier meetings had failed to split the two sides and substitute Jeroen Ketting was the hero for Volendam.
Michiel Hemmen had put Volendam ahead on 28 minutes, only for Helmond to level six minutes from time through Robert Braber.
But the decisive goal arrived on 104 minutes when Ketting pounced for the winner just five minutes after being introduced as a substitute.
