Vitesse Arnhem will hope the upcoming period of inactivity will help their medical staff nurse some of their weary players back to fitness.
Didier Martel has an Achilles problem, Emile Mbamba (pictured) a groin complaint, while Gert Claessens, Bert Konterman and Kalle Sane are all nursing knocks.
Vitesse are without a game until their clash against RKC Waalwijk on October 18, and coach Edward Sturing is looking for the break to ease his injury worries.
Claessens is clearly concerned by his leg problem, as he told Omroep Gelderland: "They keep filling up, which is unpleasant, and I can't perform like I want."
The Belgian is set for a string of tests during the week to try and pinpoint the problem.
