Both Theo Janssen and Michael Jansen have deals that run until 2006, and now the Eredivisie outfit are hoping to hold onto the duo for longer.
Talks have already begun with defender Jansen, and club official Jan Streuer has revealed his eagerness to hold onto the 20-year-old.
"He is an excellent player for us, so we have to extend his contract," Streuer told Omroep Gelderland.
Meanwhile left midfielder Janssen (pictured), who has bagged eight goals so far this season, is keen to extend his stay with the Dutch high-flyers.
"I hear that they would like to keep me, at a nice offer I will sign immediately, then we are ready quickly," said Janssen.
Vitesse also want to extend the deal of Ghanaian attacker Matthew Amoah, after the 24-year-old has impressed with his performances in this campaign.
However the club seem unwilling to increase his pay dramatically, and Streuer fears that a stalemate may occur due to this issue.
"He has got a considerable contract, at the opening of contract negotiations footballers mostly expect that the offer is something better, that we still have to look at."
