Janssen out for Vitesse

Holland's Theo Janssen has been sidelined for at least three weeks through injury.

Holland international Theo Janssen has been sidelined for at least three weeks because of a hamstring injury.

The 25-year-old Vitesse Arnhem midfielder picked up the problem in his side's 1-0 defeat to NAC Breda on Saturday.

Speculation suggests he has torn part of the muscle in his right leg and will miss the important home clash with Heracles Almelo on Saturday.

He will hope to return to fitness for the scheduled friendly at home to England in November.

Team-mates Elridge Rojer (hamstring), Mads Junker (leg) and Danko Lazovic (bruised foot) are expected to return, however, for Vitesse's next match against amateurs Argon on Wednesday.
