Elvis calls tune for RBC

Elvis Hammond scored the second of RBC's goals in their 2-0 win over Willem II.

RBC Roosendaal boosted their hopes of survival with a vital win over Willem II.

RBC had won just once since early November prior to Friday's clash with Willem II and slipped down the table as a consequence.

The clash with Willem II was the perfect platform for Jan van Dijk's side to start a revival and Donny de Groot's headed goal on 58 minutes set them on their way to three points.

RBC survived some late pressure from the visitors and secured the points when Fulham loanee Elvis Hammond netted a second in stoppage time.

The victory takes RBC five points clear of bottom club Den Bosch.
