Willem II Tilburg retained their Eredivisie status after a 2-1 success over De Graafschap in the second leg of their play-off.
The Tilburgers had won the first leg of the promotion/relegation decider 1-0 and followed up with a 2-1 triumph at home.
De Graafschap's hopes of replacing Willem II in the top flight rarely got off the ground, with the hosts taking the lead on 14 minutes through Kemy Agustien.
On 79 minutes, Moussa Dembele notched a second goal for Willem II to effectively end any lingering doubts about the club's Eredivisie survival.
In injury time, Jeffrey de Visscher scored a consolation for the visitors, but it was not enough to derail Willem II's celebrations at staying up.
