Stefan Postma has expressed delight at making a return to action for ADO.
Stefan Postma has expressed delight at making a return to action for ADO Den Haag's youth team.
The former Aston Villa keeper had not played since breaking his leg against PSV Eindhoven in October, but came through 45 minutes for the second string.
Postma admits he has a long way to go before reaching peak fitness, but is looking forward to the rest of the season.
"You make movements that you don't do during training sessions and mentally it was good to be under the bar again," Postma told the club's website.
"At present I am at 60 per cent and I will have to regain rhythm with the reserves.
"Next time I may play an hour, then a whole game.
"The only pity is that Young ADO are so good as I don't get much work as a keeper."
In other news, it is being claimed that Michael Mols may well postpone retirement in order to play in a league outside of Europe, with America mooted as a possible destination.
