Polish hooligans from Legia Warsaw clashed with Spanish police

Legia Warsaw has been banned by UEFA from selling tickets to their own fans for their next away Champions League fixture at Borussia Dortmund on November 22.

If the Polish champions' fans are involved in any further trouble in the next 12 months they could be banned from another two away matches.

This follows crowd disturbances during their game at Real Madrid last month, which they lost 5-1.

Polish supporters fought with police in the Spanish capital and there were a number of reported incidents around the city.

The club has also been fined £69,000.

Twelve people were injured in the Madrid clashes, including three Spanish policemen, and 13 Polish fans were detained.

Earlier this season, the Polish champions were hammered 5-1 at home by Borussia Dortmund and some fans were involved in violent clashes with police outside the stadium.
