Scotland's Scott Brown feels like he has been 'kicked in the teeth' after injury ruled him out of Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier with Georgia.
Celtic ace Brown was impressive in Saturday's 3-1 win over Ukraine, but he now misses the trip to Georgia along with Rangers defender Alan Hutton.
With the likes of Darren Fletcher back after injury and Graeme Murty called-up for the game, Brown is confident there is enough quality in Alex McLeish's squad to get the required result.
"It's going to break my heart not to get on that plane with the rest of the lads, but my hamstring isn't up to it," he told the Daily Record.
"I can't explain how enjoyable it is to be a part of things with Scotland, and after Saturday's result I was on such a high.
"Now this has happened and it's like a kick in the teeth. I was talking to Alan Hutton and I know he feels the same.
"Now the rest of the boys will have to go to Georgia without us and get on with the job. I'm not worried because there is enough quality left in the squad for the boys to go over there and get the three points."
