Roberto Donadoni has revealed he will make at least three changes for Italy's second Group C match against Romania.
The world champions slumped to a 3-0 defeat against Holland in their opening match and are now under pressure to beat Romania on Friday.
Donadoni is demanding an improved performance from his players and has told Alessandro Del Piero and Giorgio Chiellini they will feature from the start.
He said: "I will make three or four changes. Among those changes, Alessandro Del Piero and Giorgio Chiellini will be included."
France were frustrated by Romania and Donadoni is wary of the threat presented by Victor Piturca's side, but has dismissed fears that Italy could miss out on a place in the quarter-finals.
"Romania are in good form, but we are ready," said the Azzurri chief.
"Nothing is lost. We have two games still to play and we aim to make amends for our defeat against Holland."
