Join the Sky Sports debate on Arsene Wenger's Arsenal reign

Arsene Wenger has become the longest-serving manager in Arsenal's history, overtaking George Allison, and we want to hear your views on the Frenchman. Wenger was an unfamiliar name when he took charge of the Gunners in October 1996, having left his homeland for a spell in Japan with Grampus Eight. He quickly made his mark in England by guiding Arsenal to a league and cup double in his second season, while a number of exciting signings arrived at the club. Arsenal consistently enjoyed success during Wenger's first nine years at the helm and memorably went through the 2003/4 Premier League season unbeaten, but they have not claimed any silverware since 2005. However, there have certainly been more ups than downs under Wenger and perhaps his greatest legacy is the way he has transformed Arsenal's playing style into one of the most attractive in world football. Wenger has also prided himself on bringing through young talent at the club rather than pursuing big-money transfers, despite criticism of his stubbornness from some quarters. He has also stated that he has no plans to retire and, having rejected interest from Real Madrid over the summer, remains as determined as ever to deliver trophies to Arsenal. Let us know your thoughts using the form below. Is he the greatest manager in the club's history or is it time for him to move on?
