Brazil suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat to Mexico in their opening game of the tournament in Venezuela, which prompted fierce criticism back home.
But national team captain Gilberto feels his side were unfortunate to lose and remains confident for the remainder of the tournament.
"Dunga had organised the tactics very well for the game against Mexico," Gilberto told Medio Tiempo.
"They had the luck to attack twice and score. After their second goal we started to play even better.
"We had total possession of the ball and the only difference between one team and the other was that they scored when they had the chance, and we didn't.
"Maybe what we did wrong was to lose concentration in the build-up to when Mexico scored.
"But I am not worried for Brazil because we tried to get a positive result until the end of the match."
