Harry Kewell has poured cold water on talk of a rift within the Australia camp.Liverpool winger Harry Kewell has poured cold water on talk of a rift within the Australia camp.
The team's attitude and commitment has been questioned following Saturday's surprise defeat to Iraq in the Asian Cup.
Talk of a divide in Graham Arnold's camp has been rife, although Kewell believes the media have made a mountain out of a mole hill.
The former Leeds United ace believes the team has great cohesion ahead of their must-win Asian Cup clash with co-hosts Thailand.
"I think the media people speculate and get a whiff of something. Then it is blown out of all proportions," explained Kewell.
"Now, I've been in the Australian team for over 10 years and, in my experience, I've never seen one bit of a rift.
"This squad has a great team bond. We get on well."
