British seven get Hungary call

Seven British-based players have been selected Hungary's squad for their friendly with Italy.

Seven British-based players have been selected in coach Peter Varhidi's Hungary squad for their forthcoming friendly clash with World Cup winners Italy. Zolten Gera (West Brom) and Tamas Priskin (Watford) are both selected amongst Varhidi's six-man clutch of strikers, whilst Sunderland goalkeeper Martin Fulop is amongst the shot-stoppers. Bristol City's Tamas Vasko and Bela Balogh of Colchester United are both selected in defence, whilst Plymouth duo Akos Buzsaky and Peter Halmosi also make the squad. 19-year-old playmaker Attila Filkor is selected, shortly after completing his move to Italian giants, Internazionale. The 25-man squad will meet in Budapest to prepare for the game, which is to be played on August 22.
