Barry Robson has been forced to pull out of the Scotland squad ahead of Wednesday's friendly against Argentina.
The Celtic midfielder had been expected to start for George Burley's men but felt tightness in his groin after training and will not be risked.
Robson's withdrawal brings the total number of cry-offs to seven, a problem which has also been evident in Burley's previous six games in charge.
Craig Gordon, Kenny Miller, Darren Fletcher, Steven Fletcher, James Morrison and Ross McCormack have also been declared unfit.
Aberdeen forward Lee Miller and Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson received late call-ups earlier this week.
