Gareth Southgate is Sky Bet's 6/4 favourite to become the next permanent England boss following the departure of Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce left his job on Tuesday evening after crisis talks with FA chiefs following allegations arising from a Daily Telegraph investigation.
England U21 boss Southgate, who turned down the chance to fill the position on a temporary basis prior to Allardyce's initial appointment in July, will take charge of the senior side for the next four games in an interim capacity.
But the former Middlesbrough manager is 6/4 with Sky Bet to get the job on a permanent basis, with Steve Bruce the 5/2 second-favourite.
Former Manchester United defender Bruce, widely-regarded as one of the best players never to win an England cap, is available to start work immediately after leaving Hull in the summer having guided the club back to the Premier League last season.
Current Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is next in the betting at 10/1, the same price as Bournemouth's Eddie Howe.
USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann is the first non-Englishman in the market, the German being offered at 14/1.
Other names of note who are prominent in the betting include former England boss Glenn Hoddle (11/1), Harry Redknapp (16/1), Arsene Wenger (20/1) and Gary Neville (18/1), who was Roy Hodgson's assistant during England's disappointing Euro 2016 campaign - a last-16 exit to Iceland costing Hodgson his job.
Celtic chief Brendan Rodgers is at 33s and Jose Mourinho 40/1, despite having only recently taken over at Manchester United.
England are 13/2 not to make it to Russia 2018 (it's 1/12 they do) and, having already won the first of their 10 qualifiers, are 5/1 to finish Group F with a 100 per cent record.
Sky Bet have also opened a market on Allardyce's next club.
Derby, who suspended manager Nigel Pearson on Tuesday, are the 3/1 favourites to appoint the former Sunderland boss next and a role in the Chinese Super League can be backed at 100/30.
A return to Sunderland is priced up at 14/1.
Odds correct as at 2010 BST on 27/09/16. Temporary managers in charge for 10 competitive games will be deemed permanent and settled as a winner.
