Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster scored a hat-trick to help England U17s reach the World Cup semi-final with a 4-1 win against the US in Goa on Saturday.

The Young Lions will now take on Germany or Brazil on Wednesday.

Steve Cooper's side, who had eliminated Japan in the previous round on Tuesday, took an 11th-minute lead after a fine run by Phil Foden.

And when US goalkeeper Justin Garces fluffed his attempted clearance, Brewster was there to convert.

The Reds star doubled England's lead three minutes later, running onto Foden's defence-splitting pass and then lobbing the advancing Garces.

Brewster then created his team's third goal just before the hour-mark after his right-wing centre was sensationally finished by Wolves' Morgan Gibbs-White.
