Harry will take in England's last Group D fixture against Costa Rica in Belo Horizonte on June 24, a day after attending Brazil's Group A game against Cameroon.
It forms part of the prince's week-long visit to Brazil and Chile, which will also see him also visit Sao Paolo as well as Chilean cities Santiago and Valparaiso.
Highlights of the Brazil tour will see him visit patients with neurological problems in addition to the training base that Team GB and Paralympics GB will use during the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Harry was in South Africa when the country staged the last World Cup in 2010 where he saw Fabio Capello's England side booed off the pitch after a goalless draw against Algeria.
Harry's private secretary, Edward Lane Fox, said: "The prince will carry the good wishes of his brother, who is president of the FA (Football Association), and will be hoping like everybody else that it will be slightly more memorable than the last England World Cup match he attended, and that he will be cheering England on to the knock-out stages with the other fans."
