Wales will travel to Sweden for their final pre-Euro 2016 friendly before heading to France.

It will take place at Stockholm's 50,000-capacity Friends Arena on Sunday, June 5 - six days before Wales start their European Championship campaign against Slovakia in Bordeaux.

The game is likely to see Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic lock horns with Wales forward Gareth Bale.

Wales manager Chris Coleman said: "Sweden are a side full of quality and experience who over the years have been regular qualifiers for major tournaments. They will be the ideal opponents in a magnificent stadium."

Lars Richt, Sweden's head of national teams, said: "This will make it possible for families to experience the Swedish national team just before we travel to the European Championship in France."

Sweden, who defeated Denmark in the play-offs to secure their ticket to France, are in the same group as Belgium, Italy and the Republic of Ireland.

Chris Coleman's side have already arranged March friendlies against fellow Euro 2016 finalists Northern Ireland, at home, and Ukraine away ahead of their first major tournament for 58 years.

Wales have lost their last five games against Sweden since the first meeting between the two nations, a goalless draw at the 1958 World Cup which the Swedes hosted.

The two countries last met in Swansea in March 2010 when former Bolton and Norwich striker Johan Elmander scored the only goal.
