Wales were once again unimpressive as they slipped to defeat in Limassol.
Wales lost 1-0 to Cyprus with Chrysis Michael scoring the only goal.
The Welsh travelled to Cyprus looking for a boost following their disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign.
However, John Toshack's men went behind in Limassol on 42 minutes after Michael converted a penalty. Danny Collins committed the foul and the spot-kick was dispatched past debutant Lewis Price
It was no more than the Cypriots deserved after dominating the first half as Wales failed to ignite.
The second half followed suit, with Cyprus dominating proceedings against a poor Welsh side who never really got into the game.
