Bluebirds striker was lost for words for 24 hours

Wales and Cardiff City striker Robert Earnshaw insists Gary Speed will be missed following his death. The Wales head coach was doing an impressive job in charge of the nation, something that Earnshaw was part of. Speed died aged 42 over the weekend and Earnshaw admits he was lost for words for 24 hours upon learning the news. The striker played with and for Speed with Wales and he admits the hardest part is thinking about his family.

Sad

"What kind of a reaction can you have? It's deeply, deeply saddening," he told Sky Sports News. "It's really sad. It's the worst kind of news you can have. "The biggest thing is you feel for his family, his boys and wife and what they could be going through. "We'll definitely miss him. I've been lost for words for the last 24 hours because I don't know what to think."
